Playing & rules

Can we play for cash?

No. Every game runs on casino chips and play money, and all gaming at our events is for entertainment only — no real-money gambling takes place at any event we service.

  • Guests can start with an equal stack, or you can set custom chip values to suit the evening.
  • Prizes can be awarded to the top players at the end of the night.

Do our guests need to know how to play?

No. Every table comes with a professional dealer who explains the game as they go, so first-timers can sit down and play straight away.

  • Wheel of Chance is the easiest game to learn and a good first stop for new players.
  • Roulette and baccarat are quick to pick up, and our craps crew break the game down for newcomers.
  • Blackjack suits any skill level; poker rewards players who already know the game.

Who runs the tables during the event?

Casino Royale Rentals staff and dealers are on site for the whole event, operating the tables and monitoring gameplay from setup through to teardown.

  • Every table rental includes its own dealer, croupier or crew.
  • Dealers can be dressed in formal attire for weddings and black-tie events.

Can we serve alcohol at our event?

Yes, but you will need to obtain a liquor licence for your event. Securing any permits or licences your venue and event require is the host's responsibility.

Planning your event

How many tables can we have at the event?

As many as your venue space allows. There is no minimum and no maximum — we have run everything from a single table in a private room to multi-floor galas.

  • Corporate events scale from 20 to 2,000+ guests.
  • A blackjack table seats up to 7 players and a poker table up to 10, so guest count and floor space are the two practical limits.
  • Send us your venue and guest count and we will suggest a layout.

How long does a table rental run?

Table rentals are booked in three-hour increments. Wedding packages can run to a flexible duration to fit around dinner and dancing.

What do we need to provide?

A location is genuinely all you need — we bring the tables, the equipment and the dealers. From you we need a suitable venue with adequate space, power and access for our tables and staff.

  • Any permits or licences your event requires, including a liquor licence if alcohol is served.
  • Accurate event details: date, location, guest count and venue access.
  • Advertising and promotion of your own event.

Do you set up and take down the tables?

Yes. Setup and teardown are included in the rental, and our crew handles both around your event schedule.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Every table is available in both regions except baccarat, which is Lower Mainland only.

  • Vancouver Island enquiries: pina@casinoroyalerentals.com, (778) 676-9255.
  • Lower Mainland enquiries: edison@casinoroyalerentals.com, (604) 780-6067.

Can we brand the chips or customise the play money?

Yes. Branded chips are available for corporate events, and charity nights, stags and stagettes can use custom chip values, custom play money and themed chip sets.

Is a casino night suitable for a dry grad?

Yes. Our graduation packages are dry-grad friendly and built to keep a whole class engaged and off their phones without alcohol being part of the evening.

  • Prizes can be added for the top players to give the night a finish.

Booking & logistics

How much can we raise for our charity event?

We cannot quote a figure, because charity gaming and fundraising in British Columbia is subject to legal restrictions on how funds may be raised. Contact us before you promote any fundraising amount and we will walk you through what is permitted.

  • Complying with applicable charity gaming and fundraising law is the host organisation's responsibility.
  • We can supply multiple table options, dealers for every table, and custom chip values to suit the format you choose.

How do we book?

Send us your event details and we will come back with a quote. A quote is an estimate, not a confirmed booking — the booking is confirmed once the details are agreed in writing and any required deposit has been received.

  1. Send your date, location, guest count and venue access details, by form, email or phone.
  2. We reply with a quote based on that information. It is an estimate, not a confirmed booking.
  3. We agree the details in writing and you pay any required deposit.
  4. Your booking is confirmed, and the cancellation and rescheduling terms are supplied with the confirmation.
  5. On the day we set up, run the tables with our dealers, and take everything down afterwards.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule?

Cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any applicable deposits or fees, are supplied with your booking confirmation. Tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to accommodate the change.

Who does the advertising for our event?

You do. Promoting your own event is the host's responsibility, but if you would like ideas we are happy to share what has worked for other hosts.

Additional Questions?

Not sure how many tables your venue needs, or which games suit your guests? Tell us your date, venue and guest count and we will come back with a layout and a quote. Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland each have their own team, so you will hear from someone who knows your area.
